Description
Chianti Classico is a unique red wine characterised by a vivid ruby red colour that tends to garnet with ageing.
It is made in the hills of Tuscany from the grape Sangiovese.
The grapes fermented for 15 days at a temperature of 20-22° C. The wine is aged for at least a year in steel and cement tanks, then in wooden barrels for 6 months and finally aged in bottle before reaching our table.
It contains intense vinous scents and floral notes of violets: when mature, the aromas take on a character of marked finesse. The taste is harmonious and dry, tasty and slightly tannic, after a while it ages soft and velvety.
